About Our Managing Director
Musique Joue's founder, Deborah Yates, began playing music at the age of 5.
She attended the University of Northern Colorado on a full music scholarship
and performed with symphonies throughout the United States and Europe.
Ms.Yates was a featured performer at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In the
35 years that she has played, she has been a member of numerous
symphonies and other musical organizations.
Currently she performs with her own band as well as plays throughout the
Bay Area in musical endeavors from opera to Salsa bands.
Besides an extensive background in music, Ms. Yates is an accomplished
businesswoman. She has an B.Sc. in Computer Science; a MSc in MMIS and a
PhD in Information Systems. Her ability to be creative as well as understand
the business environment makes her an excellent choice for this role.

industry from the creative musician to the financially focused recording
